With an exceptional partnership between Abu Dhabi Development Holding and Wizz Air, new five routes from Abu Dhabi International Airport have been announced recently. As soon as the travel bans are lifted, this will connect the capital of the United Arab Emirates with five major cities such as Budapest, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Katowice and Sofia of Central and Eastern Europe. As Wizz Air is known for its cost-effective traveling options and easy online booking system, now the launch of these new routes will attract many passengers living in different cities from five major countries.
As per the sources, it is said that the new Abu Dhabi hub will serve Bucharest and Budapest from 3rd June, Katowice and Sofia from 15th September, and finally, Cluj-Napoca from 16th September. Wizz Air is also assuring 220 thousand seat capacity to the airline's Abu Dhabi network per year.
Jozsef Varadi, CEO of Wizz Air Holdings officially announced that they are planning to bring low fares forward with quality onboard experience that surely satisfies ever more customers living in Abu Dhabi. The interesting news is that this new hub doesn't encourage to travel further east than Abu Dhabi. To begin the new network, Wizz Air has also opted to align with other existing global hubs in Europe before extending out to new destinations.
