About Indigo

IndiGo is a low-cost airline headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. It is one of the largest airlines in India in terms of passengers carried and fleet size. The airline operates to over 80 destinations, including both domestic and international routes.

IndiGo was founded in 2006 by Rahul Bhatia of InterGlobe Enterprises and Rakesh Gangwal, a former CEO of US Airways. The airline's primary hub is at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, and it also has secondary hubs at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Bangalore's Kempegowda International Airport.

IndiGo has a fleet of over 250 aircraft, consisting primarily of Airbus A320neo and A321neo planes.
