AirIndia Express is an Indian low-cost airline, operated by Air India Express Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indian flag carrier airline Air India. The objective of launching the Air India Express is to provide a convenient connection to short-haul international, middle-east, and Indian Expatriate community, as a low-cost carrier. Air India Express's main hub is Cochin International Airport and secondary hubs at Trivandrum International airport.

In 2015, Air India Express was established, with three flights flying simultaneously from Kochi, Kozhikode, and Thiruvananthapuram of India. Air India Express has a fleet size of 24 and covered over 13 international destinations internationally and 20 domestic destinations.
