About Air Mauritius

Air Mauritius is the flag carrier airline of Mauritius, which is operating by Air Mauritius Limited. Air Mauritius is the world's first airline to operate both A330ne and A350. Air Mauritius has a fleet size of 14 and covered over 22 destinations and 100 destinations within the hub.

In 1967, Air France, the BOAC enterprise, and the Government of Mauritius along with Rogers and Co. Ltd. set up the company. In 1972, the company restricted its services to the ground only and started flight operations on its own from Air Madagascar connecting Mauritius.

Air Mauritius Baggage

• Air Mauritius allows one carry on baggage with 7 KG on board for Economy class, an additional 5KG will be allowed for a surcharge, but the maximum limit restricts to 7KG per bag.

E-boarding pass check-in: Passengers while check-in on the web, need to take a screenshot of their boarding pass and scan the QR code at the luggage counter if they have any luggage to be checked and at the ticket counter to get confirmation of the seats in the flight.
